Auction Results: Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, October 16, 2025 @Christie’s London

The photography results at the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day sale at Christie’s in London last week were altogether uneventful. The top photo lot Wade Guyton digital print found a buyer underneath its estimate range, and while the rest of the photo lots on offer sold through (thereby leading to an overall Buy-In rate for photography of 0.00%), with no positive surprises to push up the numbers, the Total Sales Proceeds for photography (of roughly £230K) came in below the low end of the aggregate pre-sale estimate range.
