Auction Results: Photographies, June 12, 2025 @Ader

An overall Buy-In rate over 44% muted the results of the recent photography sale at Ader in Paris. The top lot Bernd & Hilla Becher typology failed to find a buyer, so the top outcome honors dropped to a 19th century view by André Giroux. Most of the positive surprises that did occur were at lower price points, so when the tally was done, the Total Sale Proceeds (of roughly €415K) fell below the low end of the aggregate pre-sale estimate range.
